Business in China 2024: Challenges, Opportunities, and Outlook

  • GermanHub 262 Gloucester Road Causeway Bay, Hong Kong Island Hong Kong SAR China (map)

Join us on July 17th at GermanHub™ for the “Business in China 2024: Challenges, Opportunities, and Outlook” seminar. This event is organised by The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, alongside The European Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, the German Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, and other supporting organizations.

Since China lifted its 'zero-COVID' strategy, the nation has faced challenges in restoring its appeal as a top investment destination. Findings from the China Business Confidence Survey 2024, conducted by Roland Berger and the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, indicate a continued decline in business confidence, despite the reopening of borders. Instead of benefitting from the strong economic rebound that many had expected, European firms operating in China found themselves facing more uncertainty.

During the seminar, esteemed speakers Klaus Zenkel and Laurent Doucet will discuss these findings and explore the ongoing complexities European firms face in China. Moderated by Johannes Hack, the session will conclude with a Q&A.

A light breakfast and refreshments will be provided.

Tickets are limited and available on a first-come-first-served basis.  Secure your spot today!
