The Hong Kong Hub Branch, part of the International Network of IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division and present since 1984, is the reference point for Intesa Sanpaolo’s branches in Shanghai, Singapore, Tokyo and Sydney and its representative offices in Beijing, Ho Chi Minh City, Jakarta, Mumbai and Seoul.
It is also the local reference point for the Group’s International network in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China, where it is a licensed bank authorized by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority to conduct the banking businesses and also a registered institution licensed by the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong to deal in securities, advise on securities and advise on corporate finance activities. Hong Kong Hub Branch is also geographical covering of the Asia Pacific region.
The Hong Kong Hub Branch acts as main “gateway” between Hong Kong and the Asia Pacific region and Intesa Sanpaolo’s core market, Italy, and as “global partner” for its Chinese, Italian and International customers.
