The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and Macao is pleased to present the Chamber's Table. In this series, we will invite influential guests from various sectors to join us for lunch and have a conversation.

Kicking it off with the first edition of Chamber's Table: Lunch and Meet with Hon Mrs. Regina Ip, Convenor of the Executive Council (ExCo) and Member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong.

Join us in this exclusive lunch to exchange thoughts and enjoy a selection of Chinese dim sum at the Hong Kong Country Club on Thursday, March 16, 2023, from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm.

About Hon Mrs. Regina Ip

Convenor of the Executive Council (ExCo) and Member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong

The Hon. Mrs. Regina Ip is a First Class Honor graduate in English of the University of Hong Kong in 1972. Her passion for learning drove her to study for three master degrees at different stages of her life: Master of Letters in Renaissance Poetry at the University of Glasgow; Sloan Management Program at Stanford University, and more recently a Master of Art in East Asian Studies at Stanford University. She joined the Hong Kong Government in 1975, rising to the position of Secretary for Security and resigned in 2003. On her return from further studies in the US, she established a think tank, Savantas Policy Institute, in July 2006. She was elected as Member of the Fourth Legislative Council (LegCo) in September 2008 and was re-elected in 2012, 2016 and 2021 respectively. She founded the New People’s Party (NPP) in 2011, and was appointed as Non-Official Member of the Executive Council (ExCo) in 2012 and 2017. She established the “Maritime Silk Road Society” (MSRS) in September 2015. In December 2016, Mrs. Ip resigned from the Executive Council. She ran in both 2012 and 2017 Chief Executive elections. She is currently the Convenor of the Executive Council for the sixth term of the HKSAR Government.
