Get ready for the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive

  • Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. Hong Kong 1 Austin Road West West Kowloon, Kowloon Hong Kong SAR China (map)

To echo the Greenway 2024 and in celebration of the Europe Day, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and Macao in collaboration with the German Chamber of Commerce, Hong Kong and the European Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, is happy to invite you to attend an insightful event titled "Get ready for the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive". Mark your calendars for the 8th of May, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, at Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. Hong Kong.

Our esteemed speakers for this event will be Christoph Meyer, General Manager Hong Kong, South China & Macau Lufthansa Group, Nick Stratton, Sanlorenzo APAC Vice-President Sales & Simpson Marine Chief Sales Officer, and Walter van Hattum, Head of Trade and Economic Section EU Office to Hong Kong and Macao, moderated by Beatrice Colombo, Relationship Manager, Intesa Sanpaolo – Hong Kong Branch.

This event will be an occasion to delve into the innovative Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). Following the enactment of the EU's CSRD, all large companies are now required to disclose information on the way they measure and manage Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues. The CSRD will not only apply to a greater number of EU companies than previous reporting rules, but will also bring a number of non-EU companies and their EU subsidiaries into scope.

The panel will discuss about the impacts of the CSRD on non-EU companies and concrete steps that companies are putting in place to integrate ESG into their corporate strategy and operations. Professionals from different industries will share examples of how they are integrating ESG into corporate strategy and operations, gathering ESG data, and evaluating ESG performance.

Don't miss this unique opportunity to network, learn, and gain valuable insights.
